News from Noel and Chris, the Christmas Tree Elves…
Whew! We had an incredibly busy and fun 2013 holiday season at Tom Sawyer’s!
Our own Elf Village was a big hit, and we’re so glad you came to visit us in our hometown. Santa and all the elves were delighted to help make your holidays special.
There were many wonderful highlights this year. Maggie, our black Scottie pup, was welcomed into the family; and our older dog, Flippy, helped show her around the tree farm. Maggie and the younger elves played fetch the ornaments and Hide ‘n Seek all over the Big Red Barn. Myra took good care of her, in between making wreath bows.
We dodged a lot of raindrops, and helped many families Choose and Cut their perfect tree. Our wreaths all found a happy home as well. If you have a photograph of your wreath or tree all decorated, please upload it to our Facebook page to share the joy with others.
The Elf Village certainly was a hopping place…Santa listened to everyone, young and old alike, who whispered their heart’s desire into his ear. All of the elves got to make ornaments, drink lots of cocoa, and eat our weight in S’mores! Time to take a jog around the tree farm now!
And, there was one more highlight for us this season. Santa brought Tom Sawyer his present a few days early ~ a sweet, six week old kitten named “Shadow!” There’s nothing like a soft, purring kitten to cozy up with on a cold winter’s night.
We are blessed with so many friends, family, and furry little ones. Our hearts are aglow with the Light of Christmas.
We are so thankful for all of our new friends and for everyone who came back again this year! We love being a part of your holiday traditions!
Wishing You All the Happiest New Year,
~Noel and Chris, the Christmas Tree Elves
